    Zante - Tripolis ( transport )

    We have booked up heading to Zante on 29th july.

    We aim to travel to tripolis on wednesday 1st august & are flying back from Athens to london - london to edinburgh on saturday 4th

    This is just a thread to see if any other Hibs fans have took a similar option?

    We can get a bus / ferry to tripolis, but depending on number of hibs fans in the area we could possibly look into a mini bus. There is 5 of us travelling.

    If anyone is still to book, this option still comes in reasonable with options to fly in to zante on 29th 31st and even the 1st of july all from edinburgh or glasgow.

    Obviously in the hope that we win the first qualifying round. If we fail, it will be a holiday. At £350 all in for 6 days i wont complain to much.

    Olympic fly Zante to Athens. Think a one way flight was around €85 yesterday.

    We were looking at that. It's 6 hours by bus and ferry from Zante to Tripolis though. Gonnae try and find a deal to Athens or Ageana.

    I was hoping to fly over on the Monday. Spend a few days in Zante then see if I can somehow get to Tripolis. Back of a bandwagon or something

    We fly out on Sunday 29th. Spending 3 days in zante.

    Flight is currently £66 one way.

    on way back we are doing Athens to london . London to edinburgh .

    was about £210 all in for us on flights.

    Zante is an island is it not?
    that would rule out a bus surely, ho frequent are the ferries and where do they dock?

    interested in this route if we can get across no problem.

    Bus. Ferry, Bus i believe.

    I was given a number for zante bus station . And they said buses run daily and would cost around 40 euros in total to reach tripolis with a journey time of around 6 hours.
