Hi All,
As suggested by a few people on other threads, due to the difficulty in getting to Tripoli from Athens the hiring of buses has become a possibility (when we get through )
I would just like to gage the interest from the .net audience in this becoming a reality
It would be a case of travelling to Tripoli on matchday at around 11.30am/12.00pm to be in Tripoli for around 14.00pm, straight back to Athens after the game
Bus company called Grand Coaches (London Based Company) in Athens are charging:
1 x 69 Seater coach with driver = £1450.00 (£21.00pp) (£140 deposit required: £2pp Non Refundable)
1 x 69 Seater Coach Executive with driver = £1750.00 (£25.36pp) (£140 deposit required: £2pp Non Refundable)
More Buses are a possibility if demand has it (Won't confirm a booking until 20/07/2018)
We currently look to have around 170 people interested in seats, thus meaning at least 3 buses will almost certainly be needed as the number rises

I'd be interested.
I guess you're talking about heading to Tripoli on match day then back to Athens on the Friday?
My flight would probably not be from Edinburgh so timings will be crucial.

You'd want to be in Tripolis for that time mate to soak up a bit atmosphere and get food/drink etc.

Leaving Athens around lunchtime to get us there mid afternoon would be good.
Make sure there's either a lavvy on the bus or on demand pee stops.

Would def be interested, not booking anything until we are through though - unless something exceptional comes up.

Would definitely be up for this. Esp since all the accommodation in Tripoli seems fully booked already.

I’ve been in contact with a few companies and waiting on quotes. I would imagine leaving Athens in the afternoon and returning after the game, I would also need to allow for the match going to extra time and penalties for returning.
Sorry St Pauli Hibee, didn’t read all your original post I would potentially be interested in this.Last edited by tartanhibee; 21-06-2018 at 09:54 AM.

If you go ahead on this, beware of trusting anything you think you have contracted for,you may be disappointed.

Yes me and my son would be interested Happy memories of sharing the same Hotel as Pat Stanton for the Game that.Never was . When out at a pub and nipped to the loo someone had bought my 13 year old son a pint .He was half way through it by time I got back , needless to say I had to drink the rest of it
Also remember someone jumped in our taxi on way back to hotel then promptly fell out of it going round a round about Taxi driver didn't bat an eye lid and didn't stop

Would be interested but only one way – I’m staying in Tripoli after the game. Obviously priority for folk that need to trek back to Athens that night.

Me plus one 100% interested in this although the bus/coach would have to be accessible for a wheelchair. Is anyone able to confirm this with any contact they have with the companies?
If this could be confirmed then I'm definitely up for that.
