    Orbital "Chime"

I know there's a few people on here with a fondness for Orbital.

Nice wee interview with the brothers Hartnoll in today's Guardian about the making of "Chime" here.

Cheers J, really enjoyed that. YouTube has Chime being played at Pure, that brings back memories of happy times. Going down to Hull next week to see them at Zebadees yard with Mr H, looking forward to it. They are playing Glasgow 10th Aug, not arranged time off yet but I will be going if you fancy a night out.

Cheers mate, I'm definitely up for Glasgow but depends on work commitments, with it being the Friday - might be travelling back in the evening from up north.

Hopefully I'll be able to firm up on that soon. Have a good time in Hull, I'm sure it will be a good time

I have this on VHS cassette as it was shown on TV. I will get it converted one day to seriously bore both my sons as you can see me in the crowd. It was 2 weeks after I got married and a 15 minute walk to my flat, possibly my favourite ever gig.

I'm not so happy that footage exists of this.

It was one of the messiest (but also most fun) nights of my life.

My highlight watching Orbital was when they managed to mix Chime into the bells at the turn of the Millennium at Cream in Liverpool.
