Random question but apparently Belgium are represented by players from seven English clubs.

    Anyone know who they are?

Man United, Man City, Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool and West Brom are what I’m thinking. Can’t think of the seventh.

That would have been an unreal goal if it went in. The swing on the ball was ridiculous.

On the replay it shows it was a brilliant save.

Can't think who the seventh is. Unless it was seven UK clubs in which case Boyata counts?
    Benteke not in Belgian squad.

Don't. Lots of wannabe English poseurs will be along shortly to tell you of such stuff as volume control.

I do laugh when folk are look for any and every reason to criticise, and be offended by, the commentators.

"It's the commentators I hate" is such an inane comment, but it's so common.

I hate poking cocktail sticks in my eyes so I don't do it.

On this occasion, the commentator was referring to folk who had scored in this world cup. In Harry Kane's case, he's currently winning the golden boot.

Was that such an unreasonable thing to say.

I'm not supporting England but the ABE stuff is intolerable.

Harry Kane is a world class striker having a great world cup, nothing wrong with including him

I'm no Spurs fan but Kane is consistent at scoring frequently in the league, in Europe and for England.

The only criticism of him is that he seems to struggle a little against the other top six English clubs apart from Arsenal. That's maybe excused by the fact he's generally playing against top-class defenders and he's been around long enough that the opposition know his style by now.

Right you are. If it's British clubs then Celtc make the seven.

It was more the "Messi joins the big guns Kane etc" comment. He's played against Panama and Tunisia.

He’s good but Messi/Ron/Neymar good? Nah.

The England fan club jumping down the throat of any criticism of English commentary is just as tedious.

Messi hadn't scored till today. Therefore he has joined the big guns in the tournament.

No-one thinks Kane is as good as Messi.

Nigerian knew exactly what he was doing there....and fooled the VAR pwick

  21. #3410
What is Mascherano thinking? Nigerian has played for it but he duly obliged after giving away a needless corner in the 1st place.

Balls of steel with that penalty.

  24. #3413
Really harsh penalty. Nigerian felt a hand on him and just fell back into Macharano. If that's the standard, then there will be 5 or 6 pens a game.

Ref has made a rod for his back here. Will be under huge pressure every time the ball goes into Nigerian box.

    There is no 7th.
You didn't add the main man - Lukaku.

Although that still doesn't help with identifying the 7th club.
