McCoist has an unerring abilty to ruin the enjoyment of watching football. He offers less than nothing as a co-commentator - no insight other than a reminder that he hasnt yet completely disappeared into the oblivion that he earned as the sevco bigoted manager and still wholly deserves.
I have enjoyed him tonight, actually think he is good at this. Same can't be said about his management tho :)

Probably miles worse, Ospina is a good keeper and has been for years. Not spectacular but solid. Rarely makes mistakes from what I remember.

Szczesny one of the best in Italy
Ospina has been very good tonight, I've always rated him, honest

So is Quintero, just a shame who he plays for
I never even knew he played for los millionairos, to be honest. I need to listen to more of that Tim vickery to be a proper football hipster

Colombia really good today. Think them Vs England would be a great game. Poland absolutely awful
I think Senegal might spoil that party.

Great stuff from Colombia. Viewing only spoiled by McCoist's utterly dismal co-commentary. How in the name of sweet Jesus does he keep getting jobs?

Would like to see a new name on the winners list this year. Colombia or Mexico would be worthy winners on their showing hitherto...

Haven't read any of the comments on the Poland v Columbia game and so am not sure whether anyone has yet offered the view that the referee was top notch tonight. Let the play flow, calmed down a few hotheads and looked a bit like Bobby Madden with hair
    This is how it feels

The standard of refereeing has been good -- one or two exceptions, but generally the refs have let the games flow.

England pundits think they've bagged the WC. When will they learn! Silly boys.

They are one of the last four candidates IMO. Once you get to that stage anything can happen.

He has been good so far. One of the better ones without doubt. Dixon, Lawro, Kilbane all far worse.

Based on beating Tunisia and Panama?

I’m not in the ABE camp but they’ve got a lot to prove. If they don’t sort out their defensive lapses of concentration a half decent team will punish them.

You dont win the World Cup in the first round (group stage) but you can certainly lose it. Lots of football to be played yet.

    Sit back and enjoy.
