George Foulkes was a great friend to us at the time of Mercer's attempted takeover. So was another Jambo, Alex Salmond & Hibs politicians such as Martin O Neill, Jim Sillars & Gavin Strang. I can forgive GF a lot after his efforts on our behalf.

Oddly enough, I don't remember any follow ups by way of a detailed report on his trip... but then again his Lordship isn't the type of chap to bite the hand that wines and dines him.

Sorry, it doesn't excuse the system of government we have.... and the freeloaders who take full advantage of it.

I think he meant a bloated, privileged twit taking full advantage of our medieval system of unelected government.
Though I could be wrong.

George did do the due diligence though, claimed his contacts at the House of Lords had said the Russian money launderer was a business man with a "clean bill of health". I reckon that says more about the HoL than Vlad tbh.
