I really hope that doesn't happen. Hope Neil is here for a long long time and when he does leave I don't think Stubbs should be the next one in the door. I honestly don't think he will be that good at St Mirren, based on nothing other than a hunch. Time will tell

My post was mostly tounge in cheek for the poster who “swear I will do time if someone posts about Stubbs coming back”. I think it’s reasonable to suggest he could one day make a return based on the great players he brought in and of course the Cup win which no manager had done before in 114 years.

And your point about still being in the Championship is really hard to believe, Lennon got us promoted with only a couple of points different to Stubbs attempts before and was a much easier league.

I’d make him breakfast and ask if he fancied another shot before he left as well.

The man helped give me the best moment of my football supporting life and one of the top 2 of my entire life. In 30 years time I probably won’t even remember how many years we spent in the Championship or that we once lost away to Alloa but I’ll sure as **** remember THAT weekend.
