I think we will be at home. Hearts will have forgot to order grass seed and the artificial element of their hybrid pitch will have been stretched so thin to save money that it will have massive holes in it. The SPFL will give them a few months and the opportunity to play at a bigger stadium to pay for the new pitch

Can anyone remember what time the fixtures came out last year? Was it 9am or later in the day? I have a few other plans that I want to fit around our home games so keen to see the list ASAP!

Away game but live on TV would suit me best as I'm at Rebellion in Blackpool for opening weekend.

Rangers to get two home ties to Celtic, Aberdeen, Hibs, Kilmarnock and Hearts.

In all seriousness though, the only thing for certain is that the first derby will be at Tynecastle (given the first one last season was at ER). We'll more than likely be away to Celtic and home to Rangers the first time we play them too.
I think with RFC2012 finishing 3rd again, we should be expecting either both at home twice or both away twice pre-split, once again

We have a winter break 31st Dec till Jan 18th - same as this year I think.

English league having a 2 week break in February.

I’m sure we had snow in February this year ?

I think we’ll be away to St Mirren. They’ll be due a home match, we’ll be due to play away and there’s the Stubbs factor.

Yeah - iirc - the full list is released morning of 15th June but sometimes there are leaks/hints the night before on news sites on what the Day 1 fixtures will be. TV dates usually confirmed a few days after.

Assuming we are still in Europe. Our opening game would have to be the Sunday, live or not.

Last year’s tv fixture’s were announced on 11th July, so there’s a good chance, even if we’re not on TV, they will announce our game as being on the Sunday.
Livvi away would be nice, if we have an away game

I think it will be St. Mirren at Easter Road. However, I'd love it to be Livingston away from home. Always fancied a trip there.

As said earlier on the thread, St Mirren will be due a home game, to unfurl the Championship flag

Would rather the tv company's sorted out what they were shown even if it takes a couple of weeks rather than the fixtures being released early then changed for the armchair fan

Only the Premier League. I think that the EFL go straight through. They can’t afford breaks with 46 League fixtures to fit in.

Apparently the EPL clubs are not all having the same break, it is staggered, presumably to keep TV matches coming.

    Bloody stupid idea.

Celtic will be home, so rangers will be away and 9 times out of 10 the old firm away game is shown so I'd agree with you there!

Away to Killie is also my guess.
    Mon the Hibs.

A St Mirren insider reckons these are the opening day fixtures
    I’d be happy with this

    Full opening day fixture list:
    Aberdeen v Livingston
    Celtic v Dundee
    Hamilton Academical v St Johnstone
    Hibernian v Motherwell
    Kilmarnock v Rangers
St Mirren v Heart of Midlothian

    Away to Livi

    I'd take that.

Plus Stubbsy to teach the Jambos a lesson.
