    Europa

If we get through the first round then we will play one of these teams.

Just those? Could there be CL drop outs, or would they not come in until round 3?

I went to Bratislava last year and watched a slovan game. The standard was very poor, but you could drink in your seat for €1.50 a pint.
    Mon the Hibs.

Leipzig would be a good tie.

Would rather avoid the big boys and true to get through though.

The CL drop outs have their own champions section of the europa league so we can't play any of them

Would like to think we’d put up a good fight vs anyone below Bordeaux. Can’t wait for the first draw!

The draw for both rounds is at the same time so no harm in looking at who we can get

How are Dundalk ahead of us? Wouldn’t mind Burnley.

Is this round not partially regionalised?

Season 16/17 and they had some impressive results along the way all things considered. 1-1 v Legia Warsaw in the CL qualifying round then a 1-1 draw away at AZ Alkmar and a win V Maccabi Tel Aviv in Ireland as well as a couple of close games v Zenit in the EL group stage. They were managed by Stephen Kenny and had Dean Shiels in their squad at the time.

They had to play their home group matches in Dublin. Decent effort for a LOI club.

I’d like to think we’d be a lot more prepared for the Europa League than last time.

If we get through first game would love a trip to holland. Arnheim only an hour and half or so from amsterdam centraal. Was good trip pre season about 7 or 8 years ago.

I'm praying we get a team that's fairly accessible. Would love the chance to see Hibs away in Europe

Me too mate, the dilemma I have is if we draw an Irish team for example in round #1 but draw a Dutch, German or French team in round #2 do I hold off hoping Hibs get through, I would much rather go to the continent than Ireland.

Without wanting to be a killjoy but the aim is surely getting as far as you can? Pointless to get a good team early doors if we're trying to get as far as we can or are we looking at not doing very well and getting pumped by a decent team

My thoughts exactly. I want us to get to the group stages and to do that we are going to need some luck in the draw.

What we don't want is a team that is halfway through their season.
