I've never heard of most of these teams before. Not a good sign, as it'll probably be one of those 'never heard of' teams that put us out.

Anyway, please not Tel Aviv or Posnan, as I want to actually enjoy the away leg.

    Like Birkikara or progrès.

Wonder who Hearts will get in the CL draw?
They'll be hoping to miss the big teams like Peterhead.

We are seeded so won’t get drawn to play either of them. Ignore the original list posted on this thread as its not correct.

I took my kids footy team to Poznan a couple of years back and it’s a great place.

Some real howlers in there, some right backwater places. Wales or Ireland please.
I thought you wanted to avoid backwater places.

    Only joking!!!!

The overwhelming likelihood is that Hibs are going to be drawn against one of these teams, unless we are placed in an unusual group of potential opponents when they do the pots a few hours before the draw takes place.

    (Iceland)
    Stjarnan
    ÍBV

    (Northern Ireland)
    Cliftonville
    Glenavon
    Coleraine

    (Latvia)
    FK Liepāja
    Riga FC

    (Finland)
    Ilves Tampere
    KuPS Kuopio
    FC Lahti

    (Ireland)
    Derry City
    Shamrock Rovers

    (Lithuania)
    Stumbras
    FK Trakai*

    (Wales)
    Connah's Quay
    Bala Town*

    (Faroe Isles)
    NSÍ Runavík
    B36 Tórshavn*

    (Estonia)
    Narva Trans
    Levadia Tallinn**

    * - Team is the seeded side in the Preliminary Round, and is therefore likely to make it through against a weaker side. This is not guaranteed, but assumed for the sake of ease.

** - Team may still end up being seeded, depending on who qualifies from the countries whose season's haven't finished yet.

They've actually played in Rhyl (twice) and Bangor (once) in their three Europa League ties to date. You'd hope they might sense a bigger gate and move the game to Wrexham if we drew them, though.

I think the police would have a say in that anyway as I’d expect us to take a massive following to a game like that. Same applies to Bala Town, obviously.

Agree. Cheap flights and city centre historic square is great. Ideal for a congregation.

Would they be allowed to play it at Tranmere? A trip to Liverpool would be nice

We go to Gorgie and Ibrox 4 or 5 times a season so I reckon we should cope ;)

They play only a short distance from Chester, that would be a great trip much nicer than a visit to Birkenhead!

It would be nice for once to get a team that aren’t midway through their season

Keep thinking that an Edinburgh derby over two legs in Europe would be great but then I remember Hearts are in CL.

When the draw is made will we know who we are playing exactly, or is it two teams that have still to play we will be drawn against.

I was in Wrexham today. The boozer next to Wrexham football ground is superb. Shame North Wales have moved down the road.

A game at Wrexham would be ideal location wise 😁

    Could be either.
