The possibility to play Linfield is becoming summer 2018's Leigh for 150k
    It's still spring

It wouldn't take place here on the 12th. Either the ties would be swapped round or it would be moved by at least two days like the Linfield v Celtc match last year was. Belfast City council and the PSNI wouldn't allow a match like that to take place on the 11th due to the bonfires, the 12th due to the bigotted parades or the 13th as everything is closed.

    Glad to hear it

    Linfield

Totally buzzing for this trip. Return flights to Belfast sorted for £15. Slight downside is the friendly against MK Dons being cancelled, but I probably wouldn't have made that anyway. Can't wait to see what Jamie Cureton will do in a Hibs top.

Laidlaw will be back from the heel spurs injury which kept him out of action in Vietnam and will benefit from Bruce Grobellars tuition.

July 12th is a Thursday so I'm just going to take the Friday off to enable me to fully partake in the local festival.

Will this be the first time we've ever played Linfield?

Haven’t in previous years, but we might get somewhere so small, that you might need to be an AST to get in😄
Was the AST in place last time we were in Europe? Wonder what they’d do if we only get 200 allocated tickets?

I started making noises about us potentially getting into Europe a couple of months ago to the wife.

    I should have a pass.

My birthday in July too so she can even pay for my flights.

The away season ticket was first introduced a few days after we were knocked out by Brondby.

I'll be on holiday, hopefully it's on TV

Well done celtic though, done Hibs a right good favour.
I’m glad we’re in Europe but can’t help feeling that the Scottish Cup runners up should really get the place.

    Their loss, our gain, though.

No danger. Hibs were more deserving off a european place through consistency in the League rather than Motherwell winning what 5 games to get to a final ? No danger are they more rewarding than us for a Euro spot

Funny but I've always had the opposite view, even when we benefited from it.

My view is that what a team does over 38 league games better qualifies them than winning four ties to reach a final.

I'm praying we get through the first round and get the 2nd leg of the 2nd round away as I'm off work and able to go.
