Good example of why you should never give up.
Four years ago he was part of the worst Hibs team I’ve seen. If he’d been emptied at that point I don’t think too many people would have lost much sleep.
Since then he must have missed about 5 games, won the Scottish Cup and had a testimonial.
I think he has improved massively this season, particularly since the winter break he has been in the best form of his career IMO.

I just think the weaker areas of his game have come on massively this season. His crossing, for example, is much better than before IMO..

There on the merit after having a superb season. Caught a little grief these past 2 games with a huge amount of it unjust, albeit he did make a few mistakes that led to goals from the opposition, don't forget he's also responsible for a few of ours too though.
Unfortunately with the last two games being televised it's led to more than a few raised eyebrows on twitter, but they are friendlies, and hopefully if given the chance he'll be able to show others what he's about and why we value him.
Great season, great player, great person.

A career of firsts and achievements. Keep him in the team and Scotland will win the next World Cup

Although the simpleton behind me (non ST holder) who was at the Huns match might not agree.
Spent the entire match shouting how Lewis and Hanlon had "sold the beans" (wtf does than mean??) on wednesday and were doing it this game - ***** all season.........apparently.
His head has hopefully exploded at this news

You’ve got to imagine that all who travel will get some sort of game time. And at least cap some of the non capped players.
What an honour, I’d run through walls to represent Scotland in anything!

Written off by many after being in some poor sides but has worked his arse off to improve, has won both cups, promotion, POTY awards with the club, over 400 appearances, international recognition, a testimonial which raised a lot of money for great local causes and more.
He's Stanton-esque. Turnbull-esque, Reilly-esque, Sauzee-esque. What an inspirational career that goes to show youngsters that even if they're told they're not good enough that you can work hard and improve and win people over.
One of life's genuine good guys and winners.

Typical Lewis, modest as always.
Hope he enjoys the experience. He’s got at least 3 others ahead of him for that left back berth - the competition is fierce!

I’m loving it that the muppets on KB, with their absolute infatuation with us, thanks tiny-minded puddle-drinkers, are going ballistic about Lewis’s call up.

No player works harder than Louis Stevenson.
Well done, son, for being called up to the Scotland Squad.
You deserve it for what you have given us this past season - 110% commitment and consistently high performances against the best that the SPL has to offer.

Well done Lewis, a great honour indeed.
I’ve always said that even when we were at our lowest ebb with managers coming and going they all stuck by Lewis and he was always part of the team... They couldn’t all have been wrong.....
Hope he gets a game as to have represented your country is huge and no less than his hard work deserves.
