    Why no statement...

...from Hibs about the Sectarian singing of our 'guests' yesterday?

Before anyone asks... Yes, I am being serious.

If these morons came to our stadium and chanted abusively racist comments, and specifically targeted our manager because of his race, the Cub would be all over it.

Is it acceptable to keep quiet about this merely because the so-called establishment club is involved and it has been swept under the carpet for so long?

You could ask why I bother, if I myself am not a Roman Catholic, but I also abhor racism, despite not being on the receiving end, so I defend my right to care

Surprised there’s no statement about the ‘Hun ****’ banner to be honest.

I am in full, 100% agreement with you on these points. They must be asked.

    But......

Any case we might wish to make is weakened by the banner our supporters displayed in FF upper. Sorry guys, not out best effort when compared to Time For Heroes and Natural Order?

Whatabouttery is a specialism of CFC and TRFC and their “supporters” so we have weakened our position before we can even challenge either/both groups behaviour.

But as I say, fully support the points you make.

Goaded, but not rising to it for once.

    A shame.

Our manager has commented on it directly to our national broadcaster.

I think if the club had to issue statements on every mob slur that comes out of the away end they'd be too busy to run the club.

We've risen above it for a century and a half now.

I don't think our support exactly covered themselves in glory yesterday. I lost count of how many items were thrown at Rangers players. Either when they were taking a throw-in, corner or lying injured. I've complained in the past about been hit by missiles at Ibrox but we probably don't have a leg to stand on after yesterday.

Im obviously not condoning the sectarian signing but we should get our own house in order before releasing statements about others.

The club said nothing when 45000 sang the same song at Stubbs every time he led us at Ibrox so why would they say anything this time.

Anybody know if the TV dubbed it out? It was as clear as day. The banner wasn't ideal, difference is the banner would only have been made by a few, the signing was ALL of them.

The Rangers away support are effluent. The kind of racists that Traynor used to call out on his radio show before he aligned to the sash-for-cash.

Bigotry is so ingrained and associated with that club that it's normalised. Them singing their ***** is not going to make the news because it's nothing new. More likely to be front page headline news if they actually got through one game and DIDN'T sing that stuff!

    3rd'ed.

Hate seeing things thrown at players from the stands. There's absolutely no need and leaves the club open to attack

Why not write to the First Minister to see that the Scottish Goverment is going to do about such a vile display of sectarianism. Alternatively, write to the MSP for the Ibrox area, I think it is N.Sturgeon.

There's a phrase I'm sure you are all familiar with, "two wrongs don't make a right"

If some Hibs fans did throw things on to the pitch, then the club should also make it clear that it's unacceptable. They should still be able to deal with both issues, though.
