Well done 👍
Seems to have attracted a lot of negative tweets from supporters out with Hibs.

I don't think you have to be his biggest fan to be pleased for him.
Clearly a great lad off the park too who has more than made the most of his ability.
As he plays in the one position where we are blessed with two top class players this will almost certainly be his one chance so we should all get behind one of our true Hibernian legends.

One of the unsung heroes of the Scottish game. A lot of Managers, coaches and fellow pros have a lot of respect for Lewis.
I thought Lewis had developed all he could and then this season came along. With good coaching no doubt, he has managed to raise the bar and after 10 years, that's no mean feat.
I view this call up as thoroughly deserved, almost as a thankyou to one of Scottish footballs best role models.

Well done Lewis. He deserves recognition for what has been a great season.
A very underrated, selfless player who, let's remember, came to prominence as a rather classy looking midfielder in the 2007 League Cup final. He's had to work exceptionally hard to adapt to that left-back position but has held it down for many years now under a succession of managers. He's also improved significantly as a footballer under Neil Lennon, who isn't slow sideline players he doesn't think are up to the demands he places on his teams.

I think mcleish is just having a look at stevo to see if he's someone that could step in if 2 of tierney, Robertson and Douglas are injured or need a rest vs a lesser team.
I'm a big fan of Stevenson but I don't think he's quite international standard but could serve as a standby if needed.

Some of his crosses yesterday were outstanding. Well deserved for a Hibernian legend. Hopefully gets some game time!

Very pleased for Lewis. Fine reward for a great season and couldn't have happened to a better pro.

Lewis for Scotland
As it says on the tin

If true I'd be delighted for him. Scotland are particularly strong in the left back area but it'd be great to get him a run out and a full cap as recognition for his constant strong performances.

I'm very surprised at Stevenson getting one given the strength at left back but good on him.
Gutted for Boyle. Hopefully he gets his chance when fully fit.

No Hanlon. Surely not even Hanlon's biggest critic would have Souter ahead of him??

No Allan thought he might have got a call up after the second half of the season

Great news for Lewis and well deserved.
Anyone who says Lewis cant cross the ball should look at the deliveries for goals 2 & 3 yesterday!
Sadly I am afraid Paul Hanlon's time looks to have come and gone, at least until McLeish gets punted.
McLeish obviously doesn't rate him as after being in Mackay's squad he hasn't featured in McLeish's
Delighted Dylan gets another call up, hopefully he gets some game time.

Congratulations and well done Lewis on your call up to the national squad. Can't think of anyone more deserving of the honour.
Another anecdote to enthral your grandkids in years to come. :-)
