I've only just noticed that the Bogdan loan covers the last year of his Liverpool contract.

Wonder if we've agreed something with him to sign in January.
May suggest there might be movement with Rocky?

Flo? Personally think we need a box to box midfielder also
Likewise. Box to box midfielder and Allan for me. If we can stretch to it then I’d like to see a battering ram of a forward aswell but that’s maybe a bit much.

I'm hearing he wants £20K per week and that there's an underlying health issue.
    We can forget this one.

Surprised there's not more excitement about "Spike" Milligan.I think hes going to be the Aussie Sauzee.

he is a cracking player but id love a big old fashioned unit up front, someone who is going to bully defenders

If your sources are right, he’s in dreamland wanting that money - especially with the English transfer window closed

1 good season with Kilmarnock doesn’t give you that kind of wage demand leverage

He’s a free agent so he’d be able to sign for an English side still. I’d agree though that he’s probably unlikely to get that kind of money.

I'm also of the thinking we could do with a big battering ram up front . someone we can hit when games aren't going our way or when we are trying to see games out. a big mixu type would be great but unfortunately these kind of players are not easy to find.

Everyone saw how good he was.
He came to Killie for game time and had links with Steve Clarke but now seeks a payday.

He could go anywhere IMO but too pricey for us regrettably.

Just Scott Allan and a big experienced striker to go!

Would like to see Fraser Murray set up on a loan for 6 months too - top end of championship would be good.

Most importantly we send him somewhere that he will play regular 1st team football rather than a top end championship team that may not guarantee him the regular games he needs.

Didn’t realise they could still sign free agents so thanks for your replies everyone

I still don’t think £20k a week for a player with injury issues who had a good season is a good idea

That is definitely the most important thing but I reckon he could play most weeks at that level. He’s better than Stanton who plays regularly for DU imo.

He still has a bit to go to prove he is.

The last couple of those we signed (Holt and Nish) didn't work for us. Personally, I don't think they gel with the way we play

    Too right

He’s the kind of player that can turn 1 point into 3 with a brilliant pass that splits the defence

Bring SA home, he fits at Hibs and he's a guaranteed starter. Make it happen Hibs.

Celtic don't need or want him in their team, Hibs are desperate to get him and he is desperate to come here. So why's it not happening?

Lennon was quoted as saying that's one for later in the transfer window. There must be a reason for that?

Sounds like Celtic perhaps see SA as being a bargaining chip in getting a player in - maybe McKenna from Aberdeen?

He could only play in league games and the Scottish cup for them this season though. Pretty sure he's league cup and europa league cup tied.

I think the reason for the delay with Allan is that he'll be waiting for a pay off from Celtc. Celtc will be waiting to see if they can sell Allan before the end of August without having to pay up some of the last year of his contract. We saw with his moves to WBA and Celtc that money is very important to Allan and with a kid quite rightly so.

I think it'll come down to the last day of the window where Lawell is faced with the prospect of paying around 7k a week to a boy that will be sitting in the stand all season, or cutting his losses and maybe paying up half of his last year. That'll then allow him to join us

He’s just saying that it might suggest that, he’s hardly declaring that it’s an absolute, undesputqble fact.

    What you on about ?

Where is there any logical thought process in thinking because we have Bogdan on loan it may suggest movement with Rocky ?

The logic would be that it is rare for a club of our level to have 2 goalkeepers of that standard on the books. Not sure why the suggestion is angering you so much though.
