Again, I’ll point out that the issue doesn’t seem to be so much the frequency of my posts, it’s that you and others don’t seem to like that they’re “negative”. BH (and some other posters I may add) reply to my posts frequently with the same counter points ‘20 times a day’ yet don’t get the grief I do. Presumably because yourself and the others who find me boring agree with it so are happy to read it ‘20 times a day’.

People are allowed a different opinion, even if it’s negative.

I like 4-3-3 aswell but we’d need another out and out winger for it on the left. I also think Flo works better with a partner.

Not really, the 2 strikers will just split a bit wider, Boyle as an out and out winger, we do need another winger either for cover or as an option on the left.

Interesting. I like Efe but I have a feeling we’d consider that if we could get someone else in.

So I’ve been told. Just the way I am it would seem, unfortunately for you you’ll just have to deal with it.

Your constant negativity is boring. There's no need to to post about how you feel we are not ready 20 times a day.

I don't think anyone is denying the fact we need more players in, you'd have to be blind not to see that. However what I and many others are confident in is the ability of this board and this management team to get the targets they're after. Signing players for the sake of it - Hearts this year, Rangers last year, us January 2012 - has been proven time and time again to get you nowhere.

My faith in the management to get the targets in the door is not changed by either last nights result or the news of targets not coming in.
We all know we need some fresh blood but I’d much rather we wait and get quality players who are registered in time to play for us.

We have signed permanent deals for our 2 main targets and that is a fantastic bit of business - yes we shipped 4 goals but missing 2 centre half’s?

Let’s be positive. We got through, we have a big game under the lights on Thursday whilst hearts are sweating over if they’re still in the league cup (55 and counting)

Hibs prepare for every transfer window well in advance so signings will happen. We as fans have to be patient.

I don’t want us signing 13 journeyman. 3-4 quality 1st team players is what we need.

Might need two if Hanlon goes as well.
Is someone also in for Hanlon?

I'd doubt it signed a big contract in January and just had his testimonial, maybe a whoosh moment.

Signing Alfie would give us all the chance to sing one of the great pop songs from the sixties.

Pretty much where I'm at, 2 quality recruits so far, early days for Bogdan, few more signings of a good calibare and we'll do at least as well as we done last year, potentially better of course.

Another midfielder, wide player or two.......and at least one reliable striker would be good.

Wouldn't be surprised if McInnes came in for him if McKenna goes this window. Whether it would tempt Hibs or Hanlon I don't know. Personally hope Paul finishes his career here along with Lewis.

I'd be quite happy if we signed Le Fondre. Good experience and knows where the goal is. Interesting to see how this one pans out.

    Allan
Replacement for SJM and / or Dylan (we need someone to put a foot on the ball and retain possession)
    Winger
    Two Forwards

Assuming we hold on to everyone else.

Aberdeen are a tin pot club. there is no chance Hanlon will leave Hibs for a team like that. Aberdeen have just re-signed dominic Ball that tells you a story.

I'd say probably. They'd both command a fair wage. Whilst I still think if we did get J Mac, it'd have to be a loan for now. I can't see us getting ALF and him in the same window.
    I'm not so sure tbh.

NL and the club will be working towards who they want. I think I if we are to get MacLaren it will be done closer to the end of the window!

Mind you what do I know?

Good player, but I don't think us and Rangers will be doing any deals for a while.
Good. No dealings between us and that particular club suits me fine.

Le Fondre is a bit like Hooper imo. He's a very good wee poacher and will get you goals when he's on the park. Didn't he have a ridiculous record for reading where he scored about 7 or 8 times in a row from the bench?

I think we all agree that opinions are what makes message boards interesting. However, during the World Cup almost all of us got fed up with one pundit due to his constant negativity and whinging. If he did make a decent point I didn’t hear it as it was lost among his constant moaning and repeating himself. Others were bad but he was the worst by a long shot. Some folk said to switch the volume off but it means you miss out on the thread. Telling others to put you on ignore isn’t the solution, being more balanced is. Be careful you don’t become the Mark Lawrenson of Hibs.net

didnt realise that, probably an agreement so that he would actually sign a longer contract, bit gutted with that as he is worth much more

Are we still interested in signing Youssouf Mulumbu, if so Mulumbu, Allen (if we signed him), Mallan and Boyle would be an interesting midfield.

I don't get the interest in Mulumbu. According to Wikipedia he's only played 40 games (scoring 1 goal) in the past 3 years.
