Their squad has bottom 6 written all over it tbh
I reckon they'll be similar to last season. The quality of signing is poor but they're in early so Levein will have them well drilled by the time the season starts. Due to the dimensions Tynie is a very difficult place for teams to go.

Knowing their luck they'll all click and hit the ground running like when Burley was manager.
Not a chance. Those guys had CL experience, capped by their nations in major tournaments and had played at a much higher level domestically than the SPL.

Exactly but don’t let that get in the way of an opportunity to talk up the Jambos.

HC's favourite hibs.net pastime generally. He's either sympathetic towards them or has nightmares and thinks Rudi Skacel lives underneath his bed.

Don't really think he was talking them up, just a passing comment about what seems like the good luck they generally have. "Knowing their luck"

Those guys were champions league finalists, Euros’s winners, and guys with generally very good pedigree. Rather than guys from Partick and English League 2

I agree. They could have easily won the SPL that season if they hadn't sacked Burley and Heartsed it.

Another wad of cash and does that now not make it 14 since the window opened?

I think Jack Ross might just end up surprising a few folk on here. His managerial track record up here is impressive. Why wouldn’t he be rated? Why do you think he’ll blow it?
Just personally dont think he has done anything that has been sustained a year or so then move on second and third year are thetimes whenyou see ifwhat they did in first year has any depth to it ..and I do realise he is taking advantage of the market place ..as we always say time will tell ...

    I'm surprised at that

Didn't think he showed enough to prove his £8k-£12k (rumoured amount bracket) a week worth

That goal against us is enough to convince the narrow-minded city neighbours

Must say, if I was a Norwich fan, I wouldn't be happy about losing £30k (roughly) a week to a player up in Scotland - even on English Championship money that could easily be put to better use

Because the rest of their budget has been spent on low wage diddies to fill out their squad.

Because it's a loan and they won't be paying all his wages. Do folk think Bogdan won't be on a hefty wage at Liverpool?

Bogdans wage is a drop in the ocean for Liverpool compared to Naismiths at Norwich. He was rumoured to be getting £10k a week from Hearts last season towards his £50k wages.

Posted on the pm board probably their best signing so far if it comes off. Mixing unknowns with proven players could work for them.

Something has to give though, I'd reckon the sale of lafferty.

Exactly though. Rumoured. Bogdan's wage will be much more than we as a club could afford. But we'll have agreed to pay a % just as Hearts will have done for Naismith.

Something will give - naismith takes their squad size up to 32. Berra, Naismith and Lafferty all on big wages and a half built stadium to pay for.

He’s rubbish and that’s via Hearts fans I know. What a huge waste of budget for them.

It’s mind boggling. Levein must realise he has to improve on last season. I can’t see how that’s going to happen based on his signings so far and he must have blown the budget now. I can see auld Anne’s patience being tested to the limit this season.

    Long may it continue.

14 signings (I think) for them since the window opened and that’s a fair amount of wages!

Naismith looked good in the final derby versus us. Lafferty, McLaughlin, Naismith, and Milinkovic would’ve been the 4 players they’d have wanted to keep.

Don't think he did, goal aside. Opinions though.
