I personally think this is a myth. Look at Wigan last season, they played some of the best football in England, mainly all on the floor and with similar style players to Dylan.

Dylan can deal with physical players, his strength is the way he moves the ball and changes the tempo. Jack Ross obviously likes his team to play the way that suits Dylan too.

A halfway competent Sunderland should be able to impose themselves on League 1 and play their way out of it.

Good info MF. Any more for us?
Winger is still on the cards, told it's more likely to be next week than this - apparently still an outside chance of Barker coming back which might hold things up a bit.

Allan and Mallan are both expected to be Hibs players one way or another by the end of the window.

Rogers praises both for coming back to training fit and committed. He says that there are always opportunities for a player to force their way into his plans, but also says that they need to ask themselves what they see as their future if he can’t give them game time. He says he judges a player on their effort and that they are both good players.

Have you heard anything about a full back coming in?

I’d love to see Barker back, I really rate him and think the way we play suits him.

I'd think a left back is still on the radar after Izaguerri (sp) didn't happen, but I have no idea if we've actually got as far as speaking to anyone so wouldn't think anything will happen there soon unless that changes.

Barker said himself he'd be happy to come back, he loved it here last season - that's from the horse's mouth, but to be honest he wasn't likely to say "I'm hating it and would never come back etc."

    WTF!

"During his time with the Scottish Premiership outfit, he played a key role as the club historically won the Scottish Cup for the first time in their history in 2016. One season later he played a key role as Neil Lennon’s side returned to the top flight as champions. "

You are right he did love it. Got on well with the other boys and was well liked! Just have a feeling he’ll be away on loan somewhere else this season.

I think Jack Ross might just end up surprising a few folk on here. His managerial track record up here is impressive. Why wouldn’t he be rated? Why do you think he’ll blow it?

It might only be 2 signings we have made so far but im buzzing with the quality of players that Neil Lennon is bringing in Kamberi a player who reminds me of a young Steven Fletcher on a 3 year deal and Bogdan on loan for the year, a goalie who by all accounts did well at Bolton earned a move to Liverpool has made 6 Liverpool appearances and has 20 Hungry caps, it would have been more if he didn't pick up a knee ligament injury while on loan at Wigan in Nov 2016. We get a player that is back to full fitness of this calibre.

Meanwhile over the road webuyanyplayer.com 10 players have been signed the only one I know anything about didn't even get a game for a poor Partick Thistle team in a relegation play off, I know who's position I would rather be in going into this campaign

Knowing their luck they'll all click and hit the ground running like when Burley was manager.

Not a chance in hell. These guys are aren’t anywhere near the standard they had back then. Guys who can’t get a game for ICT or Partick is a lot different from the likes of Rudi Skacel.

Those guys were champions league finalists, Euros’s winners, and guys with generally very good pedigree. Rather than guys from Partick and English League 2
