Didn’t realise how much Jason Cummings is hated at Nottingham Forest and much the fans want rid of him! Sorry can’t do links but check out the thread on him on LTLF forest forum
    stuff like this...

To be fair to Cummers, it is his first season in English football... he had that one good game in the Carabao Cup against Newcastle...

We should be able to overlook that he's a useless ****, a Liverpool fan, an abject footballer, utter ****ing ****er wannabe playboy with the kind of "get a tattoo for your own special goal celebration before you've even scored a goal and then go on to score exactly no goals" mentality, uselesss Scottish ***** absolute ****. Hated the **** before I saw this message, loathe the little weasel even more now. **** him off out the side, out of Nottingham and back to the Scottish second division where his complete lack of ability, talent or work rate and his general ****ness will blend in with the other nobodies, has-beens and never-will-bes that make up that sorry excuse for a pub league. An appalling, weak minded little man. Appalling, weak footballer. Hope the club gives him a drug test when his Ryanair flight touches down in EMA so we've at least got an excuse to sack him and get him off whatever wage he's on here.

This. I want the signings now but the reality is we're not shopping in the bargain bin of free agents like that lot across the road. The standard of players we're looking at are players that their clubs will deem to have some level of value. Whether that's in a transfer fee or as a makeweight in another deal. We're not trying to get people unwanted by their club to the point they'll get their contract paid up and told to jog on so patience is key to make sure we get the right deals done.
This is what it’s all about. Hibs will be doing all they can to bring in the best players our budgets allow for. Football has so many variables and many deals require protracted negotiation, especially when you are competing against other sides, some with more money than you.

We are a well run club with some really good people involved in doing the business. In the ideal world it would all fall into place. We have time and enough quality to take care of our first opponents, I’m fully confident that there will be players in this week. If not, cest la vie.

Wasn't Kamberi signing and scoring for Hibs on the same day?
I think Kamberi signed on 31 January after a trial period.

His first game was in our win at Ibrox on 3 Feb. He scored.

Scored on the day he signed, at home to Motherwell

Kamberi scored on his debut at Easter road against Motherwell. Think he was signed on the same day.

I don't think he scored in the 2-1 win at Ibrox. McGinn and maclaren pen.

It's always amusing seeing the Scottish nationality being used as an insult down south when referencing Scottish players, I thought that sort of stuff was all one way traffic...

I really have no idea what to expect with Bogdan. His appearances for Liverpool weren't great and don't fill me with confidence but I know when at Bolton (under Lennon I think) he was very highly thought of. Not the priority signing we all wanted to see but if Lennon thinks we need a better keeper than Laidlaw until Rocky's back then so be it.

Might be to replace Rocky with Laidlaw as back up?

Just spoke to John McGinlays son who is a massive Bolton fan for obvious reasons. He said he is a class keeper and would have taken him back at Bolton in a heartbeat. So for a diehard Bolton fan Bogdan is class

The keeper isn't from the Scottish game, I'm told but I haven't got a name for him (yet).

Good info MF. Any more for us?

I personally think this is a myth. Look at Wigan last season, they played some of the best football in England, mainly all on the floor and with similar style players to Dylan.

Dylan can deal with physical players, his strength is the way he moves the ball and changes the tempo. Jack Ross obviously likes his team to play the way that suits Dylan too.
