    Stevie Mallan.

Posted a while back we were interested and that he was keen to come. I was told back then not to post anymore as Barnsley didn’t want this out.

Now I can say that Hibs have apparently agreed to bring him to ER. Source is VERY good so let’s hope it’s near done as he’d be brillant.

Permanent or loan is the key thing here...on paper looks a super signing.

No idea the contract details, also no idea if it’s instead of Crawford. Just know he’s very keen and likes what Hibs are doing and wants to come.

If McGinn left we could have Allan and Mallan to replace Mcgeough and McGinn.

Attacking mid, would probably be close to a replacement to Dylan

  17. #16
Would Mallan not be more of a replacement for Allan as opposed to McGinn or McGeough?

One thing I remember about him is that he can hit a brilliant free kick and that is something that we lack big time at the moment.

Have been looking at Barnsley for the last couple of months and noted he has been stuck on the bench.
    They have been relegated..

Mallen is a free kick specialist and a good quality player.
    Would be a good addition.
Hopefully he hasn't lost too much confidence.

Mallan and Allan would definitely need a 3rd midfielder to protect the defence, neither can defend or tackle particularly well, not their strength. McGeouch and McGinn's combative side is sometimes overlooked, both put themselves about a bit!

Mallan, from what I remember, would have a huge impact at the top end of the field, remember him being quite pacey and creative, sure he enjoys a one two also. Great freekick taker as well.
