Last Development team game - Monday 2pm

Hibs Development team play their last game on the season tomorrow
2pm ko v Motherwell, on the outside grass pitch at Oriam

I believe that they will be presented with the League trophy at the end of the game

If you can get along, see you there!

Just wondering what sort of team we’ll have out
Martin, Crane, Hammer, and Innes Murray’s, loan teams all involved in the play offs this week
Maybe a chance to blood some of the 17’s

    Oriam?

Will there be any Jambos about by any chance to see how it should be done?

Would be great if the young lads get a good crowd along today, last game of the season, and a trophy presentation at the end

I could get used to Hibs players lifting trophies😄

Think I’ll head along to this one today. Was very impressed with the boys the last time I saw them play against Dundee.

Great curling free kick in from Fraser Murray from the left, and a looping header from Porteous, although it may have gone in off a Motherwell defenders head

Great run from Sean Mackie, and a right foot strike

I think he looks like a player Billy though I believe, like Lewis Morgan, that his future may be as a wide player rather than as a defender. Thanks as ever for the updates.

Lot of pressure for the 'well in second half, could get interesting if they get another.

Well that’s the sun set on a fantastic season for the Hibs young team
Winners of the Development league and the Scottish Youth Cup, for season 2017/2018. What an achievement, well done to all

Great game today, end to end, could have ended up 8-4 or so, and in the sunshine as well😄
Some of them will be involved in the play offs with their loan clubs, be interesting to see how they get on.

Next year I believe we’re moving to an Under 18 and a Reserve League
18’s will play on a Friday, home games at East Mains
Reserves will play on a Monday, home games at Oriam

For the collectors on here, Maurice Dougan produced a cracking programme today, summarising the season. At £1, it’s a bargain, and all proceeds go to Hibs Youth Academy.
