As the article title says, if his parent team go down he'll become a free agent. Darmstadt currently 2nd bottom in their league, 3 points behind 3rd bottom, and 4 behind 4th bottom with 3 games to play. The two teams get automatically relegated, whilst the 3rd bottom team goes into a play off.

It feels a bit off hoping for a team to get relegated just so it benefits us! But then, more fool them for not giving him a game eh?

It does feel a bit shan to wish relegation on a club that I know very little about, but their loss is (maybe) our gain!
Nothing personal, Darmstadt fans!

Someone has to go down and I'd love us to keep McLaren (although he might attract interest from bigger clubs).
Hibs are my priority so I'll 100% be hoping they go down.

I hope to do you all a favour this weekend as St Pauli are 3 points ahead, heading over to Hamburg this afternoon for the game on Saturday against Greuther Fürth.
Hopefully Darmstadt will be closer to 3.Liga come Sunday night.

I have a feeling he fancies a move to England. He’ll end up in league 1 for more cash than we are able to offer him

He’s already made one bad move for his career. Would he take a risk now and look for another club? I think the fact he is settled here banging in the goals lots of games shown on the tele with the potential for European football would make him want to move here permanently. I don’t think moving to a league 1 club would help his chances of getting into the Australia team.

I still think the boy’s gash.
Signing Flo and 1 other will do me.
Won’t lose any sleep if we lose McLaren

Flo and Maclaren seem to have developed quite the bromance, they know the score.

I wouldn’t say he’s gash but if given a choice between the 2 I’d take Kamberi 10 times out of 10.

I don't think there will be any need to choose between the two, we've got the option of Flo and it looks likely MaClaren will be a free agent and wants to stay.

MacLaren is an important part of our improved 2nd half to the season. He forms a good partnership with Kamberi and his tendency to play right on the last man is very effective at dragging us up the park even if it can be frustrating when he gets it wrong. His movement is quick and decent and he's chipped in with goals.
I really can't understand how anyone who has watched us since January can call any player 'gash'.PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years
