Thought he had a very good game until getting forced off.
Glad to see him taking his opportunity 👌🏼

He seemed to be a stand-in for Scott Allan the day, and did well. I particularly enjoyed seeing him win that bout of Greco-Roman wrestling with Broonie in the second half.

Performed exactly as we all hoped and expected he would, a guy with ability and the desire to do well for Hibs, we need to keep him, he has what we need to going forward, as today showed jts a squad game and he complements our squad with good quality 😁

For me he just seems to need a tiny bit more composure. He seems so desperate to do well in a Hibs shirt that he rushes everything.
I like him though and well earned praise from Lenny today.

Swanson was very good today. The outside of boot volley in the first half would have been an absolute peach.
Need to keep him, such a silky player.

Great performance and what a football brain. Some of his through balls are just sublime but his team mates are sometimes not on the same page

Best Hibs game ?
Delighted for him. He stopped Brown dictating and was dangerous going forward.
This is the player I’ve been waiting to see.

That was the type of performance I've been waiting to see from Danny this whole season.
He was brilliant.
Yes, there a were mitigating circumstances previously, but the frustration of seeing him wallow in the background, get caught in off-field shenanigans and basically struggle to impact in the game time he had, did him no favours.
I hope we keep him, as he is a vital squad member if not a regular first team pick at this stage.Last edited by Hi Heid Yin; 22-04-2018 at 12:18 AM.

Danny played very well today. Got a stud in his knee and had to come off. Based on what I seen I don't think it should be a problem.

I've often been a bit of a critic of Swanson in the past but delighted he proved me wrong today with a fantastic performance
Well done, Danny hopefully plenty more to come

Big confidence boost for him. Does he get a place next week against Killie? Nice problem to have.
If I got to pick one player to score the winner at Tynecastle, it would be him - hopefully finding form at just the right time :D

Always believed in Swanson and I take his performance today as a personal vindication of myself. And if people on this board truly believed in justice and fairness and doing the right thing, they would post "well done Bob, you've proved us all wrong and made us eat our words yet again." Your move fellow netters.

I thought Danny had a decent game..and his tussle and winning the battle against Brown was great to see...I wouldn't have said he was "fantastic" though...that said, after his non start season, delighted for him to play a big part in the game...

S Wally McCoist said during the game when he had a tussle with Brown and won
" I thought that was McGinn there and that's the biggest compliment I could pay the guy"
