Remember it well as a 16 year old - a barmy finale, and absolute bedlam on the East terrace. Great times.

In those pre Hibs TV days I used to follow results on BBC World Service which interchanged live commentary on an English game and a Scottish one which just shows how importance of Scottish football has fallen in last 30 odd years . On that particular day there must have been an especially important English match or some other event ( Grand National ? ) which meant our match wasn`t covered live but they did a fake live commentary with late goals which was absolutely brilliant with " then this happened " several times with last 3 goals . Something very similar at Dens Park a few weeks later with commentary delayed but still exciting in pre internet days . Incidentally the presenter of BBC World Service Sport back then Paddy Feeney sounded very posh English but was born in the north of Ireland and he and his family had a soft spot for Hibs which he explained to me some years later in a personal letter when I complained about lack of live commentary at 1991 League Cup final .
