Born in June, so season also ended. We’d just finished 9th in 1986-87 season.

Born in May and Hibs had won the league just three weeks earlier.
Just to make sure I got off to good start in life, they won it the next year too😂

Start of August. Season hadn’t started. Hibs were 5th in alphabetical order. 😉
for the record, we finished 7th that coming season, Dundee United won the league, and Hearts were down in division one!

No surprise at all to see it was rock bottom. 2 weeks before George Best signed in November 1979 in the season we were relegated. What is quite surprising is to see that Morton were top at that stage. They ended up 6th just one point behind rangers.

Rock bottom on 7 points in late December 1979 and spiralling towards relegation. George Best a new arrival.

I knew Hibernian won the League the year i was born (1952)
But the question had me searching.
I assume we were top of the League on the day i was born,as we had only lost 3 games (i think) from the start of the season up till end of January.
The now defunct club Rangers came second.
East Fife came third !!
We beat Celtic at the Holy Ground 3-1 in the same week i was born.
That will do the morn
