Brilliant. Poor from the The’s though.

Hopefully a bit of last day exuberance from the Hibees will give them an opportunity for at least one more statement this season.

If Hearts put out a statement complaining about being top of the "dirtiest team in the league" table then they might be able to maintain their lofty position?

Which team has inserted the word ‘the’ before their name recently? If you solve that, you will find the answer.

Topping the discipline and statement tables mid April is a fantastic achievement for the Georgie giants.

There's a real chance of a domestic double inkeeping with their traditions, they truly do have a special relationship with some competitions.

Its time we had a statement from the club addressing our lack of statements ... what the hell are the fans reps doing?

No whoosh moment. I do understand the attempt at humour. And I don't appreciate your tone, maybe an appearance at social skills school for you.

However, 'the rangers' have been called 'the rangers' since forever. So why the two 'the's'?

'Rangers F.C. is a Scottish football club based in Glasgow. They were founded in 1872 and were acquired by an incorporated company, The Rangers Football Club Ltd in 1899. In the year 2000, Sir David Murray decided to float the club on the stock market, subsequently changing the company into a PLC. In 2012, The Rangers Football Club Plc entered liquidation and the company's assets including Ibrox Stadium, Murray Park and intellectual property were bought by Sevco Scotland Ltd. Sevco Scotland Ltd later changed its name to The Rangers Football Club Ltd. The Rangers International Football Club Plc was then formed as the holding company by the owners The Rangers Football Club Ltd, with the latter becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of the former'

As above. Recently as in 1899? Do you time travel regularly?

Presumably telling us that we weren't going after The Rangers for their historic actions.

You clearly understood what "the patter" was then. Therefore your tone/delivery maybe wouldn't have gained a pass at thon social school either.

This could go on all day/thread..

Maybe they will 'do a Manchester United' and complain about the noise of the celebrations coming from the visitors dressing room at Tynie next match?

I had to ask the question, in case it was something other than the answer I was expecting that just does not make sense.

I have a soft spot for them. My great grandads third wife's ex husband's brother was in a flute band.

    No surrender.

    I prefer 'The Huns' anyway.

I was trying to pick my favourite and went for this one as I like how this one has a cliff hanger at the end...

I think RFC 2012 plc (not TRFC 2012 plc) went into liquidation and the current incarnation is The Rangers Football Club. A The was introduced at a particularly hilarious time in recent history. 'The Thes' is a fine way to commemorate those momentous events of 2012. What the name was in 1899, 1690, etc is neither here nor there.

Well yes, but the current incarnation is not exactly a new one.. hence the extra 'the' being a bit silly.

Heaven forfend we should say anything silly in relation to a rival fitba club. Next you'll be claiming Tinycastle Park is not actually a bus shelter.
