Having watched both semi-finals, it is up to us if we put both Aberdeen and Rangers to the sword as at the moment we have nothing to worry about!
Hearts home form has to be taken into account, but would expect a draw at least.
Kilmarnock will depend on how we set up against them, if we attack I think we win, if we sit off them we could lose!
Celtic are after the league and we stand in their way first, similar to Rangers today, they want a double treble and will try and win till its secured, if we play well we could sneak a draw?
So I think possibly 9 or 11 points out of 15!!!!

That result will today probably turn even more anti Murty so the atmosphere at Ipox will be horrid.
Just as well we are playing them at ER then

If we can get 1 point at least off Celtic, it will be 1 more than the rest will get
Then just need to make sure we win 3 out of the last 4. Tough, yes, but very achievable

When we come round to playing each of them we just need to make sure that the games count.

With them already being ahead of us we need to make sure that nothing stupid happens in the first two games. We’ll be doing well to get anything from Celtic but we need to make sure we beat Killie as a minimum.

    Draw vs Celtic
    Loss to killie
    Win vs Aberdeen
    Win at tynecastle
    Draw vs rangers

    Aberdeen to fold 0w1d4l
    killie to go unbeaten 3w2d
    Rangers 1w2d2l

Hibs finish 3rd behind rangers, killie 4th,

Celtic to win league at ibrox.

    Hearts irrelevant.

If Celtic find top gear, then it's going to be a struggle, even if they make changes (Griff, Roberts & Sinclair off the bench today, with Armstrong not involved!).
Our record at Pittodrie and Tynecastle is not great and Killie just keep getting the job done, so it's going to be very difficult.
I'd be absolutely delighted if we go into the final game knowing a win would take us up a place or two. Easter Road will be rocking if that's the case...

    Hibs 1-2 Celtic
    Hibs 3-1 Kilmarnock
    Aberdeen 2-1 Hibs
    Hearts 0-1 Hibs
    Hibs 4-2 Rangers

We can predict all we like. We can be as optimistic as we like. Sad fact is, our history in post split fixtures is against us. Apart from one decent season, when in bottom 6, where we had 4 wins, 1 loss, our record is not great. I’ve got the stats if you want them. They are certainly not something we want to see repeated this season.
THAT WAS BEFORE WE HAD LENNON

    Hibs 1-1 Celtic
    Hibs 2-1 Killie
    Sheep 1-2 Hibs
    ****bos 0-1 Hibs
    Hibs 3-2 Huns

Feeling more confident after this weekend after seeing both Sheep and the Huns getting pumped. Killie will be tough but confident at home, and fancy us against Hearts albeit at Tynie. Celtic will be keen to get the league wrapped up, but feel as if we can give them a tough test at ER.

Even if we lost to Celtic I do mot see Aberdeen or Sevco beating them either. Anything from Celtic is a bonus but if we apply ourselves right then we are capable of beating all the other teams.

We are capable of getting something out of Celtic. We have pretty much consistently given them something to think about this season. We dont sit back like virtually everyone else does against them and we have a go. They arent great at the back, Boyata and Lustig are moderate to say the least, against quality or someone that has a go they struggle.

We’re good enough to win every game, it’s unlikely we will but there won’t be a game where we won’t start with confidence.

    United we stand here....

Other than Celtic, no other team will win three games.

    Hibs 0 Celtic 2
    Hibs 2 Killie 0
    Aberdeen 0 Hibs 1
    Hearts 1 Hibs 1
    Hibs 3 Rangers 1

    That'd be enough for 2nd I reckon.

You can put a negative slant on it all you like. You can use previous stats from years ago on different squads all you like. Fact is, our current form is very much with us.

4 draws would kill us and maybe even end us up in 5th .
We need to beat Killie ,Aberdeen and Sevco to have a chance of 2nd .
We should have won at the PBS last time in the league. Exiting times to be a Hibby.

If we get 7 points there's no chance we'll finish 5th. Because we would be drawing with them, Kilmarnock would need to win their other 4 games to finish above us.

I highly doubt they'll do that.

6 points will be enough to secure 4th.

    Predict the run in

If each team performs as they have done so far against the top 6 so far this season then the league will look something like this:-

    Celtic 82pts
    Sevco 69 pts
    Hibs 67 pts
    Aberdeen 67 pts
    Killie 61 pts
    Yams 50pts

    Celtic 2.06 ppg 10 pts
    Hibs 1.53 points per game 7.66pts (8)expected
    Sevco 1.4 ppg. 7pts expected
    Aberdeen 1 ppg expected 5pts
    Killie 1.2 ppg expected 6pts
    Hearts 0.93 ppg 4.66 (5) pts

Based on this 10 pts might be enough for 2nd.

3rd place is in our hands. A win against Aberdeen would put us above them on goal difference. Beat Rangers, and we'd still need them to drop points in one more game than we do due to their superior goal difference. Kilmarnock would need to win two more games than us in the final 5 to catch us.

The problem is we are playing Celtic at the wrong time in that they have something to play for. Rangers apart the other games may be more about shuffling their pack and getting ready for a cup final. Hopefully proved wrong but possible they take their eye off the ball if the league is already won.

In a way it’s a really tough fixture with the league to win, but just have a sneaky feeling that they’d rather win at Parkhead, against Rangers the following week😄

The way things are going I think there is a good chance that us and Killie will finish ahead of at least one of (if not both) Aberdeen and Sevco.

Aberdeen are falling apart as the season goes on and have struggled massively against the better teams in the league.

Sevco could well be in free fall after their cup exit and dressing room unrest. If we can take at least a point off Celtic this weekend I could see them getting a doing the next game and imploding wildly (again).
