Nothing predictable about the top 6 games with the top 5 are all capable of winning any game. Gonna be a lot of twists and turns. Anything better than 4th for Hibs (and Europe) would be an amazing effort.

If you mean 4th then 6 or 7 points should be enough. For 2nd or 3rd, I think we need about 12 points.

If we’re talking about securing 4th I think 6 points will be enough, as long as Kilmarnock don’t beat us.
To finish higher than 4th we’ll need 10 at least I think.

Killie 1-0
Aberdeen 0-2 (booooooo)
Hearts 3-1 (to the good guys)
Rangers 2-0
Think this post contradicts my predictions yesterday but I don’t care.

I was thinking 3rd which guarantees Europe. 3 wins and a draw I think will be enough. Especially if the wins come against Aberdeen and Rangers.

Will depend on other teams results. Hopefully Aberdeen and rangers play out a draw and both draw/lose to killie

10 points. I think Aberdeen will get 3 points from there first 3 games then lose there last 2. I think rangers will get 9 points in the split and killie I think will get 4. That leaves us finishing 3rd 7 points ahead of Aberdeen and 2 points behind rangers. Also means we can sit comfy hoping well pump Celtic/huns in the cup final

7 points i reckon we will get. Reason I've gone for us to lose away to aberdeen and draw away to hearts is because they are two grounds we just never seem to win at. Hearts will raise their game for derby before they go on their holidays.

We can predict all we like. We can be as optimistic as we like. Sad fact is, our history in post split fixtures is against us. Apart from one decent season, when in bottom 6, where we had 4 wins, 1 loss, our record is not great. I’ve got the stats if you want them. They are certainly not something we want to see repeated this season.

Hibernian 0 v 2 Celtc
Hibernian 2 v 1 Kilmarnock
Aberdeen 0 v 0 Hibernian
Them 3 v 1 Hibernian (would love to to be so wrong with this one)
Hibernian 1 v 1 Sevco
5 points from last 5 games giving 64 points in total.
Respectable 4th placed but could have been so much better if not for too many draws having dominated matches and those home losses against Hamilton Accies and St Johnstone.
