I know it's a challenge, but what's your one favourite Bowie song?

I'm listening to Aladdin Sane right now and it's brilliant, but one song is the task.
    Absolute Beginners.

Honourable mentions to Modern Love and Life on Mars.

And he wrote 'All the Young Dudes' which Mott the Hoople made into a classic. Some duets as well in contention - Under Pressure in particular but also the Little Drummer Boy anyone?
There's only one thing better than a Hibs calendar and that's two Hibs calendars

If it was just one track then it would have to be Rebel Rebel, the intro is genius.

I’m amazed that no one has suggested The Laughing Gnome.

    Bowie’s first and best 😄

Life on Mars. You aren't supposed to have a favourite child but this would be mine..

You listed 3 songs when only 1 was asked for, you've spoilt your ballot paper and your vote is void. 😛

Most of the best ones have already been mentioned, Rebel Rebel reminds me so much of when I first started going to night clubs, what a tune it was at the time.

3 others I don't think have been mentioned are Queen Bitch, Drive in Saturday & John I'm only Dancing all outstanding.

He had so many amazing songs in the 70's.

I’m weird this way. Not his best track as I’d say it’s Heroes. But my favourite track, one I always going back to is Young Americans.

    Sorry
Kind of agree with this to maybe include Fame for me. There's so many to choose from. An absolute genius.

Saw him live in Tampa where he did the most incredible version of Time. So that gets my vote.

To be honest, I've never been a Bowie fan and when I started to think about my favourite song of his I thought I'd really struggle to find one. Lo & behold, I discovered there are many.
    Ashes to Ashes
    Let's Dance
    All The Young Dudes
    Life On Mars
    Space Oddity
    etc. etc.
However, hard as it is, I'll opt for The Man Who Sold The World.

One of my favourite Bowie songs is one that was originally made famous by someone else but has Bowie written all over it. "All the young dudes" by Mott the Hoople.

Almost impossible to choose but would say Moonage Daydream. Fantastic song on a timeless album.

I love that song, but I have to say I prefer the Mott the Hoople version.

I've been to a few stadium gigs at Murrayfield, and I think it is a crap venue for that sort of thing.

I've never been anything other than disappointed there.
    It's not great.

I thought Bowie was good though. He wore a light blue suit and I recall that the Thompson Twins were standing on the terrace behind the stage when he was on.
