Good luck to you - and him.

I see the predictable "how much are you paying him" nonsense appeared on twitter.

Some people are just bams, eh?

Weíve played most of our home games at Royal high school due to the weather and drainage works at our home pitch in Muirhouse, just at the back of the newish Redrow houses at the end of Ferry road.

Derek is in the squad for our next game on Monday evening.

I remember when Alex Cropley turned out for Liberton Cropley everyone was trying to break his leg but Alex was too street wise for them saw them coming last week.

Good to see him playing football for the enjoyment of it. Not many players that would be playing just for the love of the game. Will try get down to a St Bernardís game before the end of the season.

I don't do the twitter thing but do you guys have a web site or fb page i can go to for fixtures? I'm only 5 mins from the pitch in Muirhouse and a wee chance to see Derek in action would appeal.

You'd be surprised. I've played against a good few at amateur level over the years. John Watson- ex Dunfermline, Colin Campbell, ex Hibs and the lanky Iain Ferguson , ex Hearts spring to mind.

Deek loves fitbaw, good on him.

At 35 Riordinao signs for ST Bernards. At 33 Ronaldo scores one of the greatest goals of all time. I lovs them both.

Could be our marquee summer signing if he does well at St. Bernards.

He was my manager there before I took over the team!

Aye, Skeletor! I knew he was working away a lot so must have been difficult to keep his hand in the team.

Good luck to Deeks and St Bernardís.

One of the most naturally gifted players Iíve seen at Hibs. Folk will be buzzing to face him and also play alongside him at that level.

Might have just been my age but he was a type of player who was an absolute pleasure to watch loved the guy. Great to see heís still enjoying his football no matter the level.
