Absolutely fantastic piece. The backdrop with Gray and the green tartened piper is really good as well.

What a great read and yet another fabulous piece of free positive PR for Hibs. Things are on the up for us in every single department both on and off the park just now. What a great time to be a Hibby

Aye, so let's not screw it up by doing a field invasion or singing sectarian songs

But seriously, that was a great read - made even better by the fact he is not 'one of us'. Just an outside observer who 'gets it'.

    Sunshine (again) on Leith

A wee bit pseuds’ Corner in places and there will be some on here that won’t like the part about the cup final aftermath but read to the end... a quite enjoyable piece on SOL.

Man City fans, Irish and German comedians, various bloggers from around world, random professional footballers kids, whether they've visited in person or even just been touched by the club in a small way are all left with a positive impact.

    In the other hand ...

... our own media in Scotland can't wait to put the boot in!

I’ve been in Dublin the last few days seeing a mate who had moved abroad but was working there this week. We ended up going out last night with a few folk from my mate’s work’s Dublin office. My mate pointed me out to one of the guys as ‘the hibby’. The guy was massively keen on Hibs and he said it was seeing SoL at our games on telly and online that sparked his and a few of his pals’ interest in us. He said they were hoping to come over for a game or two.

I didn’t realise until that conversation last night how much of a marketing tool SoL could be for us.

I think that it is unique in footballing terms as most club anthems are played at every match usually before kick off. SOL is only ever played after a big result cup/Derby win and only ever at the end of the game. The fact that it may only get an airing once or twice a season if we are lucky keeps it special amongst us and has the footballing world looking in.

Another one from a Man Utd fan writing in the current issue of Nutmeg magazine - he says that “the best I have ever felt in a football ground was when Hibs won the Scottish cup in 2016”

Sitting next to Cordon at a derby when trying to concentrate at the game would be nippy as :
