    Nade? ........ no, he’s not a footballer.

Fat wreck he may have been, but he loved a goal or 2 against us.

George McCluskey was a substantial presence.

    Decent player though

Joe Harper on his debut for HIBS at Brockville leaving a slimmer by far in comparison slimline duo on the bench in Alan Gordon and Jimmy Orourke. An absolute disgrace and the beginning of the end.
    Seem to recall a ditty along these lines......."Harper's a barrell, Harper's a barrell of lard, 2, 3, 4"

But was a goal machine up at Aberdeen.

Gary O (2nd time round possibly)
David Murphy when he first came was perhaps in this category.
    Grant Holt.

Most were decent players for us I might add
    Glad you said most.
Remind yourself of how good Cairney was check his contribution on youtube for all three Falkirk goals in the 2013 SC semi.

George Connelly ex Celtic. Turned out for Sauchie Juniors and he was huge but still the best player on the park.

    Our very own King Conrad

Raised a few eyebrows when he first joined and made his debut in the semi but delighted to say he proved everyone wrong and is forever a hibs legend

Did our own Neil Lennon not come in for a bit of a slagging for his weight towards the end of his celtc career?

I seem to mind Barry Lavetty not being the fittest looking footballer ever.

I also mind sitting at a reserve game watching some of the older players tucking into pies and sausage rolls as they watched - under Williamson i think. Wonder if that's still allowed

47 goals in 96 appearances wasn’t too shabby for someone who was so unfit when he arrived at us.
