Hi fellow Hibees. Not sure if this is allowed on this forum or not but it’s a wee plea for my friend to help send a P7 class in Wester Hailes on a once in a lifetime trip - a special weekend in Magaluf. The Canal View bairns (the only school in Edinburgh to get through to the finals) need people to vote for them. Go here to cast your vote (choose Edinburgh): http://ultimateschooltrip.jet2holidays.com/
It may be the only holiday some of these children get. Not looking for a debate and if this breaks any Hibs.net rules I won’t cry if the thread is deleted. Just want to help bring a wee bit of joy into the lives of some less affluent bairns’ lives.

Done.
I know that Canal View was one of the schools my old work used to help out with a breakfast club - so, as you said, not a lot of spare cash around.

I had the pleasure of meeting the head teacher and associate Hibee at Canal View the other day and this was mentioned to me then.
I think you will find that Sighthill primary near by has reached the finals too.
So any support for them too would be appreciated.
Two local schools who do great jobs in their neighbourhoods who deserve a bit of happiness and sun!

Done.
I think the HT is a lady I know, and the PT as well. He's a great Hibby.

Done, when I ran a primary school football team, we played them once. You could tell they never had the best of resources. Donated our spare balls, training gear etc. Nice kids but not been dealt the best hand!
If you get the chance please vote, takes seconds!
