Milan look like they’ve never played together before, a really poor performance from a team that’s been high on confidence lately.

Talking of, Arsenal look like a different team after getting that extremely fortunate 1st goal. Goals change games, and teams low on confidence need them in any shape or form, it can suddenly change everything.

How naive have Milan players been, decision making has been awful, school boy at times. Young team and they’ve acted like it.

Arsenal have been good, deserved to win.

Sad to see the old Uefa Cup so diminished.

This was a real top drawer trophy once, no shame in it at all. If they reverted to the old system, where only league winners went into the European Cup, things would be much more interesting.

It wasn't THAT fortunate, Ozils pass cut Milan right open and it was a great strike regardless of the deflection. 2nd goal was absolutely brilliant.

Thought Arsenal were far quicker than Milan tonight and technically better. Ozil had too much space.

Champions league football for the winners has given it added prestige recently and there's some good teams in it this year, Athletico Madrid, Dortmund etc are champions league calibre sides.

Absolutely scandalous decision as the ref reverses his decision not to give a penalty. 2-1,bilbao have their away goal.

It really was THAT fortunate, it wasn’t a goal until it hit bonucci.

As I said, Arsenal’s confidence was shot before tonight and had that not gone in, or had calhanoglu been less honest and gone down for the penalty, it’s a totally different game and how would Arsenal have reacted to going 1-0 down, or how would Milan’s game have changed going 1-0 up, no one knows.

As it was, Arsenal got the break and their confidence was transformed, their second goal was indeed brilliant and they thoroughly deserved to win.

Good result, OM are a cracking team on their day and definitely have an outside chance of winning the EL, after the usual suspects, if they can steer clear of injuries.

Sadly they haven't, Thauvin who's been different class for months went off on a stretcher, looked like a break.

I know it's not the politically correct option but the Leipzig shirts are very cool, I'm starting to like them

Dortmund were awful. they are so slow and ponderous and dont look like creating at all. Stoger must be in danger of going in summer at least. the fans don't like him and he's done nothing to impress. makes the decision to dump tuchel even more silly.

Looking forward to Arsenal AC Milan starting soon. HT in the early games, Lazio, Marseille and Red Bull Leipzig going through as it stands.
