    Scotland Squad

McGinn & McGeough both called up.

Or maybe he will think that playing for Hibs got him there and a move which could potentially turn sour could see him lose his place?

Possibly. It may also have the opposite effect where it shows Dylan that staying at Hibs won't harm his chances of international recognition.

Hanlon definitely deserves to be in front of those two.

How can Hanlon have lost his place in the squad? He has been playing well the last few months.

Just noticed Berra is not in the squad either , McLeish cant have been too impressed with him on Friday night.

Congrats to Mcgeouch and McGinn but Hanlon should be in.

Barry Douglas is a LB where we have our two best players competing, waste of a space.

I want to agree but has anyone seen Hanley
recently. 28 appearances for Norwich this season
    - maybe just maybe he has improved and deserves his
Place. Didn’t realise he was only 26

Hanlon very unlucky and can see him being 1st standby, so wouldn't rule him out getting a call up if any injuries. Allan, in my opinion, hasn't had enough of a good run. However, if he keeps up his form he shouldn't be too far away in future squads. Lot of competition in midfield.

Eh?! I genuinely thought he was about 35. His mobility makes him look like that.

Hanlon should be there though. Since his last call up he has been immense.

where is the two best centre halves scotland have ever produced who play in the best defence Scottish football has ever seen?

I think Hanlon should be in the squad but the one weakness is still his overall strength. Lafferty was outjumping and muscling him first half. Daz took over and Lafferty struggled thereafter.

Anyone got a full list of the squad?

TBH I was quite impressed with Souttar on Friday night.

I'd have been happy with a pairing of Hanlon and Souttar. I don't think there is anyone in the squad who is any better.

Souttar is soft as ****. As evidenced at our second goal. And Murray’s goal earlier in the season. He possibly lost Shaw for the ghost goal aswell. Don’t rate him in the slightest.

There was no way Allan was never going to get in the squad but for the likes of McKenna, Martin and Hanley to be ahead of Hanlon is absolutely scandalous.

And we don't have any strikers. Scary.

If Dylan gets a cap, hell be our 8th player in the squad with an international appearance

McKenna has been outstanding this season, I think he is the best centre half we have in Scotland.

    Pleased for Dylan.

Hanley over Hanlon. I blame predictive text.

That was more due to the fact Lafferty fouled him on every occasion, shirt pulling and elbowing which the referee never gave. Daz’s size meant that didn’t happen second half but Paul was still immense at the back and going forward for the full 90. They created zero chances.

Ryan Fraser plays for Aberdeen apparently.

No Graham Shinnie either, you could understand if it was because we have Tierney and Robertson at LB, but to take another LF in from nowhere is a bit of a kick in the teeth.

Feel sorry for Paul Hanlon, he has been outstanding.

Grow about 3 inches I would suggest. International centre backs have to be well over 6 feet to be able to compete nowadays.

I can only hope that the five or six players I've barely heard of never mind actually seen playing are brilliant because God give me strength with some of the ones I do know. Matt Phillips! Grant Hanley!! Russell Martin!!!

What in the name of Christ suddenly makes Jamie Murphy an international player? Don't answer. I know.

And if Jason Cummings is international class there is hope for us all. This boy McBurnie must be the new Messi.

It's pretty embarrassing how many of them are on loan.

Sadly agree. Shame, as Hibs looked after him when he was out injured for weeks on end and have now been instrumental in getting him his first call up.

Jambos thinking Berra's omission is due to his fitness whereas we know it is due to his sh*tness.
