Who was the worst hearts player?

Few contenders for this particular award however I’m a bit concerned that there’s a few players getting off lightly.

For me I’m thinking it’s that liverpool wonderkid Randall but a special mention needs to go to that Danish winger they brought on, number 7 I think? If he was on for the 90 minutes it’s be a no brainer as he was truly dreadful, in fact he was probably the worst player I’ve ever seen, at any level.

Anybody else stand out as being worse than those two?

Was just going to mention him - twice he did that I think?

He's on loan from Liverpool?! Mind you, that boy Boateng was at Arsenal I suppose.

Randall for me. A couple of his attempts to control/pass the ball in particular in the first half were comical. Staggering to think he’s on loan from Liverpool.

Connor Randall by a long way.
Slept wi a football player maybe, doubtful wi a pus like that mind.

Is he not normally a midfielder?

Maybe that’s why he’s as bad as he was last night?

Another name to put out there is the baby faced assassin, I forget how old he is as the media never mention it but although he wasn’t on for long I think it’s clear young Harry Cochrane is years away from being ready.

Almost feel sorry for him though as imo Levein is hanging him out to dry by over using him. So far out his depth it’s not real.

That Danish boy was absolutely brutal. Him and Randall are stinking and I’ve no idea how he’s a Liverpool player. Folk saying the Danish lad is a player when he came and I think he was quickly found out and that’s why he’s hardly played.

Lafferty was horrendous. Lots of jumping about, falling down and being a greeting-faced ladyboy but, football-wise, as much use as tits on a fish.

Randall seems to be making a name for himself re getting embarrassed by Boyle every time he plays us. Moore in front of him did a better job of both attacking and defending than he did.

Randall didn't look like a professional. Staggering he came through Liverpool's system. Lafferty was abysmal too.

Difficult to answer the OP, there's quite a few contenders. The only players in that Hearts team that were any good at all were the goalie (who's a Hibee by the way) and the right back, but that's just my opinion.

Randall was unbelievably bad and I was surprised to hear where he came from, but I'm still going for Adoa. Hearts class.

Only watched the second half however I grudgingly admit that the guy McDonald that came on looks like he could be a good player, nowhere near ready for first team football though.

I know Levein received lots of plaudits earlier in the season for blooding these youngsters however imo he should be getting more criticism for over using them now. Sure they’re good young players but playing them this much isn’t doing them any favours.

Thought Adoa had a good game for them.

I'm going to twist your question and say their guy most culpable for their loss - Levein.

  18. #17
Adao for me, runs about fouling and acting tough. Almost set macca up with a short pass back. Could've been booked twice in the 1st 10mins

Totally agree - taking off my Hibs hat I was initially impressed with the laddie Cochrane, but the increasing pressure put on him from within must be almost asphyxiating. Callum Paterson was the exception that Levein has tried to make the rule and I fear he’ll break those kids before they hit 20.
The fact he’s blooding such young guys indicates all really is not well at the big bus-stop.

I thought the young lad that replaced Cockring was pretty decent

Astonishing lack of spatial awareness from an EPL starlet. He clearly thought he was in the opposition box and was trying to trip himself up for the pen, as instructed by Harry P.

Randall was definitely the worst. He looked like a haunted man.

Fair do's if a guy with his priorities turned up at Hibs I'd spend even more time at boston United. The handshake suggested he might have a bit about him and struggles with what doctor football told him to do?

An extremely poor man's (in a hobo sort of way) Bartley. They wish they had someone just like our Marvin. Hard but fair, not even in the yam vocabulary so they will forever have transient "hard men" with no understanding of their club.

    We've got Marvin.

Will the steel Adoa provides in midfield rust, though? That's the 74,000 dollar question.

Anyone who has to resort to pulling an opposition players hair, off the ball, is a poor excuse for a pro. Also very girl like.

Naysmith was pish and done **** all but moan at the ref all game. Loved when SJM shoulder barged him and he went flying almost all the away across the pitch in the east.

Quite liked the look of their RB to be honest.

    Randall was astonishingly bad.

Agree that Adao had a decent game as a destructive midfielder, although it might have been different if Madden had brought his yellow card.

    Not for me.

When I watched a rerun of the second half when I got in I was surprised to hear the commentators praising him so much. He was better than he was against Motherwell last week but I do think they glossed over all the poor things he did.

If barker was fit he’d have had a field day.
