Is There a Dirtier Team in the League than Hertz?

Total hammer throwers. Anti-football at its worst.

The fair play league suggests not

  4. #3
It actually beggars belief that only one of their players got booked. They could have had 4 or 5 yellow cards in the first half alone.

Madden way too lenient. Although he got almost all the actual calls right to be fair to him

    Thought Madden was decent tonight.
You won't hear me saying that very often about SFA refs.

Let them off with murder. Ridiculously lenient with some of their fouls. It was pathetic what they were allowed to get away with.

Agreed. Although, he would probably say he was letting the game flow.

Not sure how Lafferty managed to escape a booking for committing a rugby tackle.

What I would say about Madden was he was even handed. There should have been a bundle of yellows handed out for Hearts. When it was obvious he wasn’t interested big Daz got stuck right in. Was like watching a derby from the 80’s. Except we won 😀

Lafferty could have been booked for persistent diving ffs.

The foul that cleaned out Stevenson in the first half was reckless in the extreme .... a booking all day long.

We all knew fully what to expect from them but even I was taken a back a bit. We had a former pro with us and he was shocked at some of the things they were doing and he played in the 70's! On the subject of Kyle Lafferty, that man can't be a footballer, don't even think rugby could help him.

Stick to the bookies big man.

They do know how to kill a game(or try).
Constantly breaking momentum, they drag other teams down to their level

The ref got all the important calls right but I can't believe he only booked one Hearts player (iirc).

naismith had two bookable offenses early on in a row, neither of which he booked him for.

The first especially. Later in the game a ref books him for that every time.

Easy question with a simple answer - NO

Madden was terrible. Like all Scottish referees he indulges hammer throwers and this just penalizes football. If he clamped down on them earlier we would have had a proper game. (And they would have been destroyed).

Madden gave us pretty much every foul that he should have but was way to lenient with the lack of bookings

I could have posted this myself, although probably less eloquently and with less wit.

I’d like to know how many times, since the fair play league started,
that the burgundy boys have won the esteemed honour
of being the leagues dirtiest side?

If ever a statistic summed up an entire football club, this would be it.

    There definitely isn't.

What I wondered was is there a player who sums hearts up any better than Adao?

Violent one paced niggly thug. Got to be in with a shout for their player of the year

If we had team fouls like basketball they would struggle to finish a game with 9 men.
