Development game v Partick (Tuesday 13th)

Hibs development team are at home on Tuesday against Partick Thistle. 2pm KO, inside pitch at Oriam
It’s school holiday week, so would be nice to see a good crowd along
Anyone going who wouldn’t normally be able to make it?

    Still top of the league

I’ll make it along to this one. I really hope they manage to get something sorted so they can play at East Mains though.

    United we stand here....

Will the new stand be finished?

    Will there be chips?

    Both deal breakers for me.

No idea, we’re inside so don’t care
They don’t sell chips in the Oriam cafe, only sell healthy options

Has Lewy Allan played more games recently? Hadn't seen him mentioned in ages but seen him scoring a few recently. Assuming he's probably gonna wind up leaving us eventually for the lower leagues.

1-0 Hibs, just after we missed a couple of good chances
Good move with Swanson playing in Lewis Allan, cut it back and Oli scores

    2-0 now
Great ball from Swanson, and Oli scores with a low left foot strike

Get the impression Shaw is at the stage where the development league is far too easy for him.

He certainly sticks out at this level. His movement has been excellent.

Certainly seems that way although I still think there’s a massive jump from that level to where we want to be though.

If we had more cover I’d have liked to have seen him go out on loan to a decent championship side.

    2-1, goal out of nothing
Hibs should have had a penalty a minute before
    Swanson playing really well

3-1. Great run and Swanson gets brought down in the box.
    Great penalty from Oli

Great opportunity for him with Barker being out injured.

Which is why not having a reserve league as a bridge from youths to 1st team is needed IMO

Really enjoyed that today. Oli Shaw and Danny Swanson were a cut above the rest, but I thought a few of the younger guys looked pretty good as well. The two centre backs look pretty assured and are decent on the ball. It’s not hard to see why we’re top of the league.

We had a colts team in the EoS league the season before we were relegated.
