Got the Gilzean cartoon book. I used to love going to his shop to buy players cartoons on badges

Maybe the folks a wee bit older than me can confirm if he released his comic strips in ‘lengthways’ book form on a semi-regular basis. I mind enjoying them when I was wee and seem to recall both Hibs and Hearts editions of the books.

He did a brilliant poster when Hibs won the League Cup on 1972.

I must look that out. The cartoons were excellent although the humour was pretty corny.
His shop was at the top of Fleshmarket Close opposite the back door of The Scotsman. Great days.
