Are red puddings a Fife thing?
My Dad is a Fifer and he always wanted a red pudding supper from the chip shop. He always used to send me in for them, and I've had to have a few conversations with brusque chippy workers where they are not on offer.

Never seen them in NE England, Fife and Perthshire for the real deal. Grampian region for a poor imitation.

Just had roasted pumpkin seeds and they were amazing .
One batch roasted with castor sugar and cinnamon which tasted like honey roast peanuts.
The other batch was roasted with paprika and spices.
I was really surprised at how tasty they were.

Tripe (never in milk - heathens) and potted heid which seems a rarity nowadays.

Coming on to Hibs.net and checking the Dug-out a few times a day specifically to read about strangers and their pet peeves, and the things they like, haven't tried, or only tried once. That can't be normal.
Mon the Hibs.

Potted heid is a very acquired taste. I buy it occasionally and am reminded it is a very very acquired taste.
Like brawn, it should be eaten with a pickled gherkin to enhance the visceral taste.

Mustard. I have several jars with murky-looking contents. People bring me them back from holiday. I like French ones best but I'm "keen" on all types.
Wee mustard-based quip there.
