    You have to base your style on what players you have available. Scotland just don't have the players to play football at that level.

    I disagree there are an awful lot of very average international teamsnset up with the sole purpose of not losing. I dont expect us to play Germany France etc but the level below that why not?

    Rod has done a lot of good, very good at Hibs in fact, but he’s a poor judge of a football manager.

    There's no logic to what you're saying. The SFA obviously want O'Neill but it looks like he's going to refuse (we can only speculate as to the reason) . Therefore this has nothing to do with a duff appointment by Petrie or anyone else and everything to do with a cheap shot for the sake of it.
