Good luck Liam (sniff) - always a Hibees legend

  7. #36
It was tough seeing him in that Bari kit - knowing that, despite so much wishful thinking by so many, he is not coming back to us - well, not at this stage of his career anyway
I wish him well and hope that he gets the game time and recognition for his undoubted talent.

There’s a long-running thread about him on Kerrydale Street. I liked this recent post - “Back in Scotland by August. All the best to him at Hibs next season.”

Was in Bari in 2007 for the Scotland game. Weird stadium, and seem a bit of a yo-yo team between Seria A and B.

However it’s great to see young Scottish talent cutting their teeth abroad. It will be fantastic development, great climate, decent money and he’ll be fluent in Italian in about a year.

    Buon Fortuna Hendo.

... or maybe Bari aren't so desperate as to throw a brand new signing, who hasn't played first team football for a lengthy period, into a crucial match. A match they simply must win because their managers balls are in a vice

He picked up a slight injury during his trial.

Think it was the record that reported that on Twitter the day after he signed for Bari.

Good for him. Honestly, if I was a professional footballer I'd be off abroad like a shot, especially somewhere nice like Bari.
I enjoyed it when I was there for the Scotland game, pity we stayed in Brindisi.

Well done to Hendo who played 71mins of Bari's 1-0 win over top of the table Frosinone (who?).

The goal from a corner looks a bit similar to Sir David Gray's but it wasn't Henderson who delivered it. Maybe Hendo taught them it in training.

Whenever he played I always though his style was more continental and that one day he might end up abroad .... a super young guy with a brilliant attitude ..... As another poster said, much as it would be great to see him at Hibs it would be just as nice to see him be a success there and put himself way out of our price range. He will always be a Hibs legend and wherever he ends up he will never get as good a welcome as he will if he ever returns to Easter Road, even if its to do the half time draw.

All the very best to you Liam
