Not necessarily , there’s no two ways about it, we’ve offered Ryan McGowan a deal. He told his sons mum a few days ago. Us and a team down south
    No danger

For what it's worth I reckon Templeton will be a cracking signing.

McGowan can GTF. I'll be apoplectic if he ever signs. My confide in lennon would evaporate instantly

I would prefer Alistair McGowan. He does a good impression David Beckham.

i agree totally. I'm never fussed and never have been about signing ex-hearts players but I believe there is a limit. McGowan was a member of the 5-1 team that were responsible for many Hibs fans worst ever day following the club BUT more importantly he was a member of a team that defined that lot as a club.......overpaid players of a better quality than they could realistically afford meanwhile robbing businesses of money and other clubs of success as a result. He was also one of the players that took great pride in gloating about it.

NO ONE from that team should be near our club. EVER.

Uncharacteristically quiet on the Twitter yesterday..

  14. #433
We just signed a fullback and we have plenty centre backs...so why would we be after McGowan? Not to mention he's not very good.

I’ve no problem with signing ex yams, even McGowan. My problem is that isn’t he a right back? Haven’t we just signed one of them? Don’t we also already have two ageing injury prone right backs at the club? How many do we need? Where is the squad planning? And if he’s a right centre half then that’s even worse because we have three of them and they are all fit.
I doubt it’s happening but if it is then my faith that Lennon is the right man for the job will take a big hit.
We need an attacking midfielder and a centre forward.

If we sign McGowan it would be the most pointless, ridiculous, anger-inducing, confidence losing signing from hibs in my time as a fan.

I don't believe it, but if true lennon has made a monumental error

I wonder if Efe will be away. He's made no secret that he was here for Visa purposes, and that's past now.

I was told by a jambo they were self sufficient just before they put themselves into administration and published an incredible list of creditors who had been bumped for tens of millions.

    I can’t see this happening....

I’ve always backed a managers signings in the past but I’d find it hard to stomach this one if true.

He has also said that he's very happy at Hibs and feels at home.

1 poor touch will get a terrible reaction from the ER faithful. I can see this happening unfortunately, we need a RB at the moment and I can see it as a short term deal until the summer. Whittaker and Gray are finished. Both long term casualties. Whittaker should go into coaching role now.

I cant believe the hysteria on here, folk getting there knickers in a twist over something that has not happened.

I'm hanging myself if we replace John McGinn with Rudi the big nosed reindeer, there i said it, i will also bathe in a bathful of beans first.

Just signed a right/left back. We now have three right backs and 2 makeshift.

    Rherras is a left back.

We have 2 injured right backs. Playing players out of position is stupid long term.

    a right footed left back?

seems sensible that he could be a right back too
