    In a chippy probably. Since they switched from fat to oil it's far harder to get the temperature required to make a decent chip.

    People that cant accept something costs what it costs, and try to negotiate and haggle over prices like they're in a bazaar somewhere. I blame The Apprentice TV show, where the competitors all seem to be encouraged to haggle at every possible opportunity.

    Likewise the need to add a tip to everything for no obvious reason.
    If the job is done as quoted then that's the price. Different if some extra work was done free gratis, then, okay, throw in a couple of quid more.

    A mate of mine is notorious for this. On my stag do he even tried to negotiate the price of shots down and succeeded. I bet if I tried that I'd fail.
