They say football is a working class game but how many English gentlemen with double barrelled names are on the park now?
It's a cultural thing, it started becoming more common in the mid-Nineties for couples to double-barrel when they married. Their children are now the young footballers.

Robertson my man of the match, just like every time I see him play. With Tierney we have no worries at full back for Scotland for a few years.

He’s done really well but Van Dyke has strolled it and a goal to boot.

Does anyone else rate the Ox? Everytime I watch him I'm impressed, dunno why he gets such a hard time.
He really needed his move away from Arsenal, same as Kieran Gibbs.

It's a fantastic place to play exquisite football, but if you're not starting or featuring regularly then you will stagnate (albeit playing League Cup games and dead-rubber Euro games in a sterile but somewhat similar mode to the first team).

Calum Chambers will probably be the next, though Wenger does have a habit of hanging onto players for years, even when they're clearly not going to help Arsenal win a title.

Great game. Passion a plenty, the result meant a lot both on and off the park.

First time they've beaten the Toffees at Anfield in the FA Cup though, is it not?

Two pluses. Robertson played well and Pickford is hopefully Ingurlund number 1 for years to come.

Robertson is a class act. Tierney is a good player dont get me wrong but Robertson is the better of the two. Tierney needs a move from Celtic to move his career forward, one is doing it week in week out against top players and top sides the other is doing well against the likes of Ross County, Partick and Hearts (with the greatest of respect to Ross County and Partick). That might rankle with a few but I bet its crossed Tierneys mind.

It’s quite frustrating that our two genuinely top class players both play at left back.

    United we stand here....
