    I wouldn't worry much about tickets. The previous game was pay at the gate and this one's a midweek evening.

    Is there any point to having a winter break if the first league game back is a midweek fixture with another the midweek after?
    Don't play for three weeks then ask fans to travel across the country midweek in January and squeeze in 5 games in 15 days - great stuff

    why didn’t they cram more midweek games in between August-October and March-April?

    What are the actual reasons for the winter break? If the management of fixtures was better they wouldn't need to give players a rest in any case?
