They have won 3 of the last 4, laughable to suggest they don't respect the cup. The team put out was full of experience. The same team strolled their Europa league group. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

OK the Premier league teams and anyone else for that matter playing lower league opposition, put out teams with fringe or youth players in it. The game has changed, the cup competitions in England are the best way of blooding younger players in or giving fringe players much needed game time. The manager/coach has to try and balance such considerations with putting a team out he feels will be good enough to win the game, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Its where we are at. In England (and I suspect Scotland) the gulf between "development" teams, Youth teams etc and the first team is enormous, from the "big" clubs pov it makes sense.

The excitement of the fans of the so-called smaller teams must be diminished when they realise they are unlikely to see the likes of Sanchez, Ozil etc. They won't be too fussy now right enough.

Cardiff v Sunderland an absolute boring, brutal watch. ***** crowd, ***** atmosphere.
Calum Paterson and So Bamba on show for Cardiff.
I hate the SPFL winter shutdown.

I'm stuck in a hotel in Boston so will be following whatever is on the TV here(might be 1 game) and BBC updates
Palace home to Burnley is huge for the Eagles, too close to the bottom 3 to be dropping points at home to Burnley who are starting to struggle
Curious to see if Jase is in the Forest squad. And if Dundee Utd dont beat Dunfermline theyre going to lose touch with St Mirren, and be watching out for Dunfy and Livvy who will likely beat Brechin
Then the NFL play-offs

Hearts ‘clean sheets’ starting to get a little dirty. They’re 3-0 down after 30 minutes in their friendly. Linesmen can’t be Scottish !
