Celtic should be told to wear their third goalkeeper strip for their outfield players tomorrow which is a flourescent salmon colour so no clash there with us.

**** them. I can't believe they have been allowed to produce not two but three strips this season which are all green. Absolute joke.

Next season we should bring out two green strips as well and see what the SPFL does then!

    SPFL Rules -

    Clashes of Colours

G38 At least 7 days prior to all League Matches and Play-Off Matches the competing
Clubs shall notify each other and the Secretary of the kit it intends its Players to
wear in the relevant match. Such notification shall be made using the SPFL Match
Kit Form and include the kit to be worn by the goalkeeper.

G39 If the Secretary determines that there is, or is likely to be, a clash of colours, the
Secretary in consultation with the Scottish FA Head of Referee Operations (being
the head of the Scottish FA refereeing department by whatever name called), will
determine, in accordance with the provisions of this Rule G, which colours should
be worn by the Clubs scheduled to compete in the match. The Secretary will notify
the competing Clubs of the colours to be worn in the match no later than 48 hours
    prior to the match.

G40 Notwithstanding Rules G38 and G39, in the event of any dispute with regard to the
playing kit to be worn by either Club the match referee’s decision as to whether
there is a clash of colours shall be final.

G41 When two competing Clubs having the same or similar first choice colours engage
in a League Match or Play-Off Match, the Visiting Club shall play in its second or
third choice playing kit which must be different and distinct from the Home Club's
    first choice playing kit.

G42 In the event of a clash of colours on match day and the Visiting Club not having
with them an alternative registered playing kit, then the Visiting Club will require to
play in the Home Club's alternative colours and/or shorts and/or socks or
    , in the
event there is still a colour clash, a combination of the Visiting Club’s alternative
colours and the Home Club’s alternative colours.

This last one would be highly amusing..........
They have been wearing our jerseys for ever so it shouldn't make a difference.

Why do people care about this all of a sudden? Can’t remember it being a problem in the past. Is it just because it’s Celtic?

We should have our green and white hoops for an away jersey.

There was never much of a clash in the past for the battle of the greens. Great kits back then.

Tbf to Celtic have we ever considered them when we have a white away strip which is also a clash with them? In September 2000 we played Celtic at Celtic Park and they wore yellow whilst we wore green and white because both our kits were deemed a clash with their home strip.

But at least that kit didn't clash with our own home strip!

Off the the top of my head.

In each each case the home team either won or it was a draw so not sure there’s much evidence of it being much of a disadvantage either

It would actually sum Scottish football up to a tee if Hibs have to wear their away top at home to Celtic to accommodate their choice of away strips.
Correct. Pathetic. Am I right in thinking we even wore our away strip against Hearts recently?

We could wear the same kits tomorrow as we did throughout the 70s & 80s without any problems. To suggest otherwise is commercial keech.

If scott brown fouled you he'd get a pat on the back from Beaton on the evidence on show in that first half.
