Most useful non kitchen gadget in your house

After years of trying to find the end of the sellotape and cutting pieces off and sticking them on the table when wrapping a present. The large sellotape dispenser I bought about 15 years ago has to be up there as my favourite :-). Well used and reliable.

    What's yours?

Maybe not a gadget as such, but about ten years ago I bought this set of mini screwdrivers from Poundland. I thought they would be rubbish but they’re good quality and have been really useful over the years.

Without a doubt the long shoe horn. I can't - I mean, I don't, have to bend down to put my shoes on.

Cheers that’s the Mrs. birthday sorted.

My favourite gadget is probably a bit strange but it’s a bench grinder in my garage.

If we're going down the power tool route then it's a close thing between my rail saw or second fix nailgun. Both amazing time saving toys eh ahem tools,I mean tools

I'm with you on this one. Prolongs the life of my shoes heels by years. My extendable back scratcher is another very satisfying purchase.

And there was me thinking that your nom-de-plume stood for "I've Got No Shoe Horn"

Sounds like a number straight out from the Beverley Hill Billies Country and Western show. Reached about number 70 in their charts listing.

Yup. Sonos beats my cheap screwdriver set every day of the week. Got one for my 70th and don’t know how I managed without one.

My Roomba is my favourite. Before I leave the house I just set it loose on one of the 4 floors and it does the business. I've got oak flooring on the 3 living floors and tiles in the cellar so I'm not sure how it would perform on carpet.

I've moved the microwave to the living room just to save face
