Might have to put my tin hat on for this one but he's bang in form at the minute. Looked very impressive in the weekend highlights and has scored 3 weeks running. He'll more than likely be leaving Hamilton in January and would be avaliable for free (I think). Worth a punt?

Definitely worthy of consideration. I never minded Keats and Jason's past mistakes and in fact it can make it all the sweeter when they do well. We definitely need more attacking options and I doubt he would break the bank.

No danger from me either way. Don't want him anywhere near Easter Road.

He's played well for a few games since his return this time around, until he gets injured again and goes missing for x amount of months.
Not for me. We can do much better.

I think its a big punt given injury record and pre Hamilton the level he has been playing at for years, but his previous clubs wouldn't bother me at all
However the only way he would replace SJM is that he would be another player replacing one that had left, as would for example any other outfielder we signed,, which is what I think you mean, rather than a like for like replacement?

Most Hearts fans I know have always said he was the type who flattered to deceive and had about 1 good game in 5, I think you could safely say that ratio got worse at Rangers. Add in his injury record and it's a no from me.

Will go to Hearts in the January window, not at the level of players we are currently looking for

He'd be rubbish for us. These types of signings never work out.

He will end up back at Hearts, hailed as a major coup by Ann Budge and a reflection on how Hearts are a major progressive force in Scottish football.

Only if he stands outside the new castle facing corporate boxes at Tynie belting out Sunshine on Leith with pictures of SJM and "Lewie's Got Two" tattooed on each buttock, mooning them eating their chips.
Even then, not good enough for our first team I fear.
Do you think your security can keep you in purity, you will not shake us off above or below. Scottish friction, Scottish fiction

He wouldn’t improve our squad. If he’s hitting a bit of form now, then it’s the first time in about 5 years.
United we stand here....

He is no where near good enough to pull on that Green and White jersey!
I just dont like him or his attitude............
Look at how he played Hearts to get his move to Rangers, no respect for the club that brought him on.
No id not want him anywhere near our young ones!

He was good until he chucked it all away dropping down the leagues. Not good enough for where we want to be up the top end of the table.

He's had a good couple/few weeks...but before that I don't think he's done anything for ages.
3/4 good games a season? Nah. We should be looking for better than him.

Scored against Liverpool at Anfield one day, signs for L2 Sevco the next. He's made a few bad decisions but there's no doubting his talent. We'll get a better look at him this weekend I guess.
